Baby Korbyn

This is our cute little baby when Im 19 weeks.
He likes to suck on his fingers!!

He is just so cozy in mommies belly

He had a big yawn right before and then gave us a smile. Oh I cant wait to get him out and snuggle with him.

What a Wonderful Life!!

WOW!! Time goes by so fast. Devin and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary on July 11, 2010. I cannot believe that it has already been a year. Let me just start by saying that we LOVE being married. It has been so much fun being married to my best friend and Im so happy we get to spend the rest of our lives together. Now I will fill you in on everything that has happened this past year.
After being married only a month, we decided to add a new addition to our family. In August we brought home our cute boxer named Ali. We already had Destiny who did not like Ali at first, but now they are the best of friends. Ali is getting so big and let me tell you...she is a handful. She eats everything in sight, and I do mean everything, and has so much energy all the time. She is about 50 pounds and thinks she's a lap dog, which isnt so bad most days. Destiny and Ali are both great to snuggle up with on the couch and watch a movie.
Devin and I also found out in December that there will be addding another addition to the family. It was a huge unexpected surprise to find out I was pregnant. We were planning on waiting a few years but now that it has happened we are both so excited and cannot wait to see our adorable, sweet baby boy Korbyn in August.
Devin has also been very busy. Not only with school and work but he has planted a garden with peas, carrots and potatoes. I wasnt sure if it would grow because before he planted, he poured weed killer all over the dirt. (a whole bottle of weed killer) But his garden is growing so well and I can wait to have home grown veggies. Devin says we will be "living off the land"
That is all that has happened so far this year. I will try to do better at keeping my blog updated.

And Our Story Begins...

Fireworks lit the sky the night Devin and Ashley met on July 15 2007. Neither was looking for love the night they met and they definitely didn’t think they would find it in each other. He was competitive, outgoing and eager. She was shy, prissy, and determined. Together they were stubborn. They both had to have the last word or at least be right. And they both ALWAYS had to win. The evening began with many rounds of 'speed' which Ashley won with full force. Devin had finally met his match.
Was this just a summer romance?
They spent as much time together as they could. They loved being together, and talking, and playing. He was her best friend and she was his. She could tell him her most secret of secrets, and he wasn’t afraid to listen. They instantly fell head over heels for each other. What was thought to be a summer romance was so much more. They loved each other very much and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

We were pretty serious when Devin asked me to go to St. George with his family for Easter. I had such a great time, and it will always be in experience and vacation I will remember. On the 23, of March, Devin had planned a private, lunch on the patio for just the two of us. Which is crazy to imagine how he got everyone out of the house for at least a hour. There was a cute Easter basket on the table with an egg inside. I should have known something was going on, because the human garbage disposal wasn't touching his food at all. He could barely even talk to me. He pulled out the egg, I opened it, and there was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. I immediately jumped on his lap and started kissing him. We were going to spend the rest of our lives together and I couldn’t wait to get started.

It’s almost been a year later since the proposal and the time has flown by. We are busy planning a wedding and trying to do everything we need to before we start our lives together. Devin is busy working with his brother Casey and going to school. Ashley is working at Youth Impact and starting school in March.

We have decided to start our lives together on July 11, 2009. We are very excited and can hardly wait.
